Our Mission

At Trustworthy Hope, we aim to provide strong reasons for Christianity - showing that the Christian hope is worthy of your trust. In addition, our goal is to build up the Body of Christ - increasing the confidence believers have in their Christian faith.

 

Hope is built on the foundation of faith, and we believe that the Christian faith is true because there are good reasons to believe it to be so. This enables all who put their faith in Christ to be confident in the Christian hope as the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans:

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13

So, what is the Christian hope? As Christians, we have "the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time" (Titus 1:2). We have also defined hope by using the word itself:

O - Onto

P - Promises

E - that are Eternal

It's through faith that we can be assured of the hope we have. We aim to give convincing reasons why it's reasonable to have faith in Christianity. Thus, showing that the Christian hope is worth trusting in, which is Holding Onto the Promises that are Eternal through Jesus Christ.

 

Through various forms of content such as long-form articles, quick reference answers, Q&A, videos, and podcasts, we strive to give good reasons for why Christianity is true. As we grow together, we will produce additional forms of content to show that the Christian faith is reasonable and that the Christian hope is trustworthy.

As an apologetics ministry, it is our goal to do as Scripture commands in helping believers be prepared to make a defense (apologia in Greek) for the hope that is had with grace, gentleness, and respect.
